Digital Strategist

Digital Strategist

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in setting digital marketing strategies using all necessary tools and platforms (blogs, social media, paid ads, email campaigns)
  • Research client industries and develop a strategy based on their buyer profile and journey
  • Analyze website traffic metrics and develop ways to enhance visitor number, backlinks, Google Ranking
  • Monitor SEO/SEM, marketing and sales performance metrics to forecast trends 
  • Work with Content team to strategize clientele needs and content/SEO requirements
  • Liaise with Marketing, Sales, Design and Content teams to optimize customer experience and ensure brand consistency based on data
  • Identify advertising needs
  • Develop Paid Advertising and Paid Social Campaigns with Content team
  • Establish best practices in digital marketing for client profile
  • Track any new updates in the digital marketing and technology industries 
  • Analyze user behavior, online initiatives, and data from Google Analytics
  • Monitor and provide KPI insights and develop next-step strategies
  • Create and share performance reports and dashboards
  • Analyze the use of multiple marketing funnels and providing actionable insights
  • Implement tracking scripts
  • Use and implement tools for A/B testing, heat maps, visitor recordings
  • Use and implement additional Google Analytics reports – start and stop pages, search console insights, etc
  • Setup goals, sales funnels, event tracking in Google, and other analytics tools
  • Establish Google Analytics Alert system to maintain key data in real time
  • Manage paid advertising budgets

Job requirements

  • Demonstrable knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms such as Moz, Ahrefs, SEMRush, WordPress, BuzzSumo
  • 2+ years of experience working with Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Facebook Business Manager
  • 2+ years of demonstrable successful digital marketing experience
  • Expertise in Google Analytics is required, current individual certifications desired
  • Knowledge of Google Partners programs and exams, current individual certifications preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics
  • Ability to originate and test creative content (text, image and video)
  • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels, top of funnel through bottom of funnel
  • Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Multitasking and analytical skills

Responsibilities:

  • Social Media
  • Research ideal audience preferences and discover current trends
  • Design posts to capture readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products
  • Measure web traffic and monitor SEO from Social Platforms
  • Stay up-to-date with regular changes on all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
  • Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries
  • Engage with clients for positive response times
  • Report on online reviews and feedback from customers, be able to identify when to add them social campaigns
  • Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic, time of day in client location, and customer engagement metrics
  • Oversee social media accounts layout, including graphics, messaging, location/about information and images
  • Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers by targeting ideal demographics
  • Ensure marketing message is conveyed clearly and delivered properly to the audience
  • Ensure messages are sent in proper form and template

  • Email Marketing
  • Develop A/B testing strategy for Email Marketing clients
  • Proofread emails for clarity, grammar, and spelling
  • Develop a personalization strategy for each client’s unique audience
  • Include specific graphics, incentives, and detailed descriptions
  • Ensure messages are mobile-friendly through testing and review
  • Purge non-deliverable email addresses and opt-outs, perform monthly Email System audits for maximum impact
  • Include persuasive ‘call-to-actions’ in advertisements and promotions, be able to recognize when a unique call to action should be used
  • Track and analyze all marketing campaigns
  • Use statistical analysis and reports to create campaigns around client copy
  • Create email marketing campaigns to promote products or services for a wide range of clients

Job requirements

  • Basic knowledge of working within project management tools
  • Experience working with the WordPress platform
  • Demonstrable practical knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.
  • Demonstrable practical knowledge of MailChimp, Act-on, Constant Contact
  • Google Analytics experience
  • 1 – 2 years of experience working with digital marketing campaigns under schedules and deadlines
  • Working knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and content marketing
  • Ability to coordinate creative content (text, image, and video) internally or from subcontractors
  • Familiarity with overall online marketing strategies and marketing channels
  • Ability to keep up with  future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Multitasking and analytical skills
  • Ability to set goals and create publishing schedules independently
  • Easily adaptable to change in a fast-paced work environment
